I won 2nd place at Craving For A Game’s Weiss tournament today scoring 3 wins and 1 loss. This is the best I have ever done in a tournament ever. I usually scrape by with at most 1 win and 2~3 losses. Maybe this means I’m finally getting somewhere with my deck building.
After the tournament I went to work at Papa John’s from 4pm to roughly 11:30pm. Twas an average day at work with the most exciting thing being me finally catching up on some Touhou music by Shibayan and FELT.
Upon arriving home after work at quarter to 12am, I hit up @LandRoverAttack on Twitter to play some games of Weiss Schwarz via skype, tape, and webcams. I lost count of how many games I played with him while chatting about Weiss strategies, mechanics, and etc and ended up logging off skype at around 8:00am that morning.
I didn’t go to sleep, instead I drove to Kwantlen Surrey campus to take care of some paperwork problems with my enrollment and course registration for next semester. I got to kwantlen at around 12pm, saw the lineup for student services had well over 50+ people in it, contemplated for but a few seconds, then headed straight for the games room. I played a few games of Weiss Schwarz with a bunch of people who hang out at the Kwantlen Gaming Guild then left promptly at around 4pm to head to work.
Somehow I managed to work from roughly 5pm to 11pm without any sleep in the last 24 hours without any problems. A mocha with two extra shots of espresso from Tim Horton’s kind of helped.
I just finished building yet another new Weiss Schwarz deck from scratch and can’t wait to try it out and before I knew it it’ past 4:30am, so I thought I might as well do something productive and write some journals.
